Never judge a book by it's cover, and never judge an athlete by their size. This weeks Throwback Thursday player has proven doubters wrong about the efficiency of what some football fans call "undersized" for a college level running back. Khalfani Muhammad out of Inglewood California broke what many would call "size stereotypes" throughout his football career. Muhammad was a standout superstar at Notre Dame (Sherman Oaks, CA) High School, leading the Knights to multiple playoff appearances as well as three winning seasons. The four star 5'8 running back was nearly unstoppable throughout high school, thus gaining interest from multiple college football programs across the country. Muhammad had received offers from 11 division I college football programs, some of the schools including UCLA, Oregon State and Washington, Muhammad would eventually sign to play football for the Golden Bears at the University of California on November 27, 2012. Throughout his career at Cal, Muhammad has been a heavy contributor, rushing for over 2000 yards and 11 touchdowns.
